Servants Anonymous Society of Calgary Annual Book Drive & Sale
supported by the Calgary Herald
Servants Anonymous Society of Calgary would like to invite all Calgarians to drop off new and used books at any of the Calgary Fire Halls (except Fire Halls 13 and 25) from May 1 to May 26.
All books will be then sold at the 11th annual Book Drive and Sale on Friday June 7, Saturday June 8, Sunday June 9, 10-5 daily, as well as Friday June 14, Saturday June 15, Sunday June 16, 10-5 daily at the Outpost tent, Crossroads Market, 1235 26 Ave SE. Admission is $2
Proceeds from the book sale support Servants Anonymous Society of Calgary and the Calgary Herald’s Educational Program. Servants Anonymous Society of Calgary’s mission is to provide long-term programs, ongoing support, hope and wholeness to young women (with or without children) who are victims of, or are at risk of, sexual exploitation. The Calgary Herald’s Educational Program provides teachers newspapers for classroom use, both as a resource and curriculum tool.
