Single Beds Needed

We are in desperate need of some single beds. We can’t transition some of our Participants to the apartments until we get some. If you know of anyone who has a bed to donate, please get ahold of me ASAP please.

One of our ladies is about to have her baby and we need to set her up in one of the units before she is released from hospital. If you know of any agency or organization that may be able to help, please email me the contact info gwent@servantsanon.com .

Thanks so much

Gwen Tennant,

Program Supervisor

Raising the Roof'

Toque Campaign

Let's Put a Cap on Youth Homelessness!

This February Servants Anonymous Society of Calgary is partnering with McMan Youth Family and Community Services Association to participate in Raising the Roof’s Annual National Toque Campaign that gives Canadians the chance to raise funds and awareness in the fight against homelessness in Canada.  We are selling toques for a minimum donation of $10 and proceeds benefit our two agencies and other agencies across Canada. Toques can be purchased at SAS or McMan and they come in red or green.

The first Tuesday in February (the 7th) is National Toque Tuesday where together we can proudly wear our toques and raise awareness for the issue of homelessness. Supporters can visit www.raisingtheroof.org to learn more about this national campaign, or come by SAS or McMan to purchase their toques.

P.S. There are whispers of a Calgary flash mob on Toque Tuesday, so let me know if you’d be interested in participating. Also, if you and your family, friends, coworkers would like to start a friendly little competition who can sell the most toques, let me know and I’ll tell you more about the prize for the team who sells the most toques J

Thanks for helping support our two great organizations!
